Memorable moments

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

There are moments that you’ll never be able to forget…
I’m talking about those fleeting ones. The good ones (yes, there are bad moments too, but who wants to remember those?).  I’m talking about the really GOOD ones.

The moments that make your heart sing with joy and leave goose bumps on your skin.

Those are the feelings I try to create and capture when I’m creating your portraits or just walking around town with my camera during those days when I want to do street photography.

I’m always looking for the SPARKS hiding in the subtle moments of our lives and in soft pockets of light because that where the magic happens.

Some of my memorable moments were captured when I step outside with my camera and reconnect with natural wonders. This is a great time of year to take photos. Winter is over and Spring is here. Flowers are blooming all over the place. I see bluebonnets everywhere now. I wake up early on Sundays and head out to see the day wake up.

On days when I don’t have an idea of what to take pictures of, I go to the local doggie park. There I find families playing with their furry best friends and just laughing and having a wonderful time. They say laughter is contagious. I believe it is because after a short time, I find myself laughing right along with the my subjects. Photographs of pets and their humans are great to have. Long after the pet moves on, the images of those happy moments continue to bring joy.

Kids and their four legged best friends make great images of memorable moments.

In addition, story time is a wonderful time for memorable moments and images.

So…if you don’t have an expensive camera, get out and shoot with your phone. If I don’t have my camera, I capture the memorable moment on my iPhone and then work it into my portfolio. I contact the person I shot (if I can) and give them the gift.
